it’s been a while: we have fallen victim to a crazy schedule and using other formats, such as facebook, to update our progress. so… quick recap:
we have finished our pro bono work for the valley of the moon lodge addition in washington, state. the project took twice as long as planned, but the clients were great and the project, a small addition caught between an existing log cabin and a very long retaining wall (13’-0”) from the cabin, was fun and challenging.
we are currently working at the vernacular level with a small shed/workshop for a friend.
our next project is another addition, this time in duluth, mn. we are using a working title of “dar’s addition” for now. we can not tell a lie; we are jazzed by this one.
and, the work on the project that will not die, the LAKEhaus project, continues -albeit at a slower pace since the owners notified us a few months back that they have no interest in building any time soon. not that they won’t build, just no hurry. so…
we’ve missed our little blog… it’s time to get back into the mix.

enjoy. -ts
